- She’s Vanishing
Seventeen-year-old Jade Miller goes into deep denial when she spots her pre-transition doppelgänger at the aftermath of a gas explosion in her quiet Seattle neighborhood.
Just one more thing on top of the mess that is the trans teen’s life. She has an impossible crush on her best friend, Chase. Her father is less than supportive. Her therapist refuses to give permission to start HRT.
With the appearance of the mysterious stranger, her life fractures. Friendships and memories drift away. All clues point to one terrifying conclusion: she’s fading from reality.

The Greater Goal
This project is not just the debut for Roxanne Skelly. It’s also a debut for Clocked Media, LLC., an indie publisher focused on trans speculative stories for the trans readership. Trans people want to see themselves in story just as much as everyone else, and there’s so very few opportunities to do so in the bookstores, online, or in the libraries. Trans people want to be in stories where they ride dragons, bring down empires, and fall through wormholes just like all the other fans of speculative fiction.
We look forward to joining the few other publishers in the literary world who do focus on trans sci-fi, fantasy, and horror stories written for the trans audience.
